Ficlet: Through New Eyes (Charlie/Teddy)
Title: Through New Eyes
Rating: PG
Characters & Pairing: Charlie Weasley/Teddy Lupin
Word Count: 120
Content: pre-slash
Disclaimer: The characters, settings and HP Franchise as a whole are owned by JKR and not by me. I make no profit from writing this piece of fanfiction.
Summary:It's always fun to watch the expressions of the new recruits but Charlie pays especially attention when Teddy arrives.
A/n: Un'beta'd. Written for Day 24 of "31 Days Of Weasleys" at
weasleyjumpers for the prompts: "Charlie/Teddy", "Great Hall" and "Dragon". One week to go.
---
Teddy Lupin remembered the way he'd felt when he first saw the great hall of Hogwarts, awaiting his sorting. It had been stomach churning mix of anticipation, excitement and terror.
The feeling when he reached the crest of the hill in Romania and saw the dragon sanctuary stretched out beneath him in the valley below had precisely the same effect.
Charlie Weasley always made the new recruits walk from some distance just to see the looks of their faces as they took in the sanctuary with massive dragons flying around like flocks of birds.
He paid no particular attention to Teddy Lupin or the adorable way his jaw dropped, or the way sweat glistened on Teddy's nubile young body.
Honest.
