James Sirius did not meet Harry Potter's eyes when Harry walked into the room and sat down opposite his son.

"So."

"So what?" James responded, mulishly.

"Mum says she saw you down Knockturn Alley again."

"So? I can go where I want."

"So, she's worried. There's a lot of nasty stuff down there."

"You go there."

"I go there for work, James," Harry said. "I don't like it."

"Oh," said James. "I didn't know that. It is July you know."

"James," He said. "You don't expect me to believe you were buying me a birthday present from 'Borgin And Burkes'?!"
