harry100 prompt # 460: "Competition"
Daphne Greengrass looked impeccable when Harry Potter arrived for their date. A little red dress clung to her impressive figure and her hair and make up were perfect.
The only problem was Astoria Greengrass was looking equally impeccable next to her.
“You didn’t say this was a double date,” Harry said, later that evening.
“You didn’t ask.” Daphne replied.
Malfoy’s grey eyes flashed and he sneered as he danced flawlessly with Astoria. While Harry fell over his two left feet.
“Don’t worry,” Daphne said. “There are other ways to impress. Not, that it’s a competition.”
“Of course not,” replied Harry.
The walls of Greengrass Hall were thin and the sister’s bedrooms had one in common. Draco Malfoy thrust into Astoria in an attempt at a quick rhythm.
There was a regular thump of a headboard against the wall and accompanying shriek of feminine pleasure that made it impossible for Draco to concentrate; sounds that lasted long after he and Astoria had finished.
Next door, Harry and Daphne lounged in a comfortable state of half-dress. Harry’s wand was directed at the wall, creating sounds.
“I do hope Draco doesn’t think this is a competition,” He said to Daphne with a wink.
