So it's the first week of Jan 23 and I did the target of three days of writing, product two ficlets, which is a pretty good start to the year all things told.

That said it's quickly become apparent that finding time to write is much easier than figuring out what to write. Which my muse stubbornly refuses to do.

I keep an eye on several drabble comms, but going through old lists of prompts doesn't seem to help for some reason.

Congrats on a successful first week!

I can relate to the rest of that though. LOL :/ It's one drawback to not having a big project but instead needing something new and fresh nearly every time we try to write. Maybe you need some kind of Bingo table to try to complete. I think some of this does come down to making yourself at least try to write something even when it seems like it's not happening.

Yeah, the developing the habit part of the challenge is just that I guess, forcing oneself to write whatever the circumstances.
