Neville woke up early and went to the loo. Afterwards he caught sight of the window through a crack in the curtains; droplets of condensation covered the lower rim of the panes.
Neville frowned and looked through the curtains, his lovely garden already desolate from winter was covered in a thick layer of frost, freezing his once lovely plants. He sighed heavily.
“Neville, sweetie?” A voice said from the bed, “Are you okay?”
“Fine, dear,” said Neville slipping back under the covers. “You?”
“Perfect, now,” Hannah said as Neville wrapped an arm around her pregnant belly and held her close.
