hp_nextgen100 prompt # 257:"Snitch". To overthink it, this is not in continuity with the last time I mentioned Posey in a drabble, I was just too lazy to think of a new "child of a Slytherin" name.
“So what’s this I hear about you and a young lady called Posey Parkinson?” Mum sprung on him one breakfast.
James most certainly did not blush.
“How did…?” He cut himself off, glaring across the tables at his siblings trying to flush out the snitch. Lily didn’t notice him and Al met his gaze with the imperturbability of a Slytherin liar. James gave it up as bad job.
“You know who her mum is,” Lily whispered.
“Wonderful,” Dad said looking over his newspaper. “Can’t wait for you to bring her around for tea.”
James groaned. This was worse than disapproval.
