lightofdaye | July Update

So it's July...

Half the year gone. I can't say anything's really changed since the start of the year, still (badly) working from home. Just continuing on with no progress in my life at all and that's been an issue long before covid.

I'm managed to fret myself into a mood about it, this evening. I'll get over it. I guess I owe myself 3 fics this month to average it out. We'll see if that happens.

So what did i do since last update? Finished watching brooklyn 99. Sank way too many hours into Mass Effect Andromeda. Wrote 1 drabble.

I re-read the excellent Star Trek novel "The Final Reflection" a pre-TNg look at klingon culture super highly recommended. (They tried to sell Discovery by saying they were using that book as a reference but aside from fleeting (no pun intended) references to the black fleet it really wasn't). Currently reading Wyrd Sisters the (sort of) first book in the sub series of Discworld about witches. I've never read them before mostly concentrating on the City Watch books.

It continues warm here especially today but it nothing like the record breaking heatwave Canada and parts of America are under going thank goodness.
