Summary:Alicia and Katie's first official date comes to a close.
A/n: A second fic for Sapphic Spring hosted byelasticella. For the prompt "HP: any/any- First Kiss" from the_kellephant.
Alicia’s head was spinning from the cocktails they’d had by the time they ended up back at Katie’s flat and she was a little breathless from dancing as well.
They collapsed onto Katie’s little threadbare sofa, still smiling at the night’s frivolities.
“That was fun,” Alicia said after a while.
“It was, wasn’t it?” Katie said. Her blue eyes shining as she looked over at Alicia.
“I don’t get it though.”
“Don’t get what?” Katie asked, shifting in her seat as if uncomfortable.
“Well, it was a date right? We chatted, we danced, we drank… possibly too much,”
“Yes?” Katie moved again, this time putting her arm on the back of the small sofa.
“We do all that hanging out as friends, what’s the difference?”
Katie did something Alicia didn’t expect, she giggled.
“What?”
“Oh, Ali,” Katie said, “You’re really asking for it aren’t you?”
“What?” Alicia repeated, confused.
“This,” Katie said, leaning in, “is the difference.”
Katie pressed her lips to Alicia’s in as gentle a kiss as she’d had. Katie’s breath washed over, quick and faster and she sucked sofly on Alica’s lips. Alicia heard a whimper in the air before realising it’d come from her.
It was their first kiss.
Katie retreated for a second, leaving Alicia light-headed, she looked almost nervous.
Alicia grabbed Katie and pulled her into her lap. Katie kissed her again, her hands buried in Alicia’s hair, her tongue surging into Alicia’s mouth.
It was their second kiss. Alicia stopped counting after that.
