It was 90 minutes after Harry’s shift and his paperwork still wasn’t even half-done when someone stuck their head around his door.
“Harry?” Susan Bones said.
“Y-yes?” Harry said, cutting the annoyance in his voice to a bare minimum when he saw who it was.
“Do you want to come get some food with me?” Susan said brightly. “I know a nice café we could go to. You need a break”
“I can’t”
“They do a wonderful treacle tart,”
“Is that what you think it takes to convince me?” Harry asked.
Susan smiled.
“… I’ll get my cloak.” Harry said.
