In your own space, create some goals
Past Years: 2020|2019|2018
This is a regular thing for Snowflake, and I don't expect my answers have changed much. Making goals is easy, doing them is hard. real life things especially I feel like I'm sleep walking through life making no progress towards anything I should want. Obviously the current pandemic is a really good excuse on that front but even without that, yeah not happening.
But to keep it in fandom so to speak:
Anyway much the same in fandom but these last two years I've made it habit to aim for writing two fics every month. Now on average I've done better that each time. But it'd like the fics to be meatier so to speak and I'd like to output them more consistently. So two every month, rather than them coming out in peaks and trough over the year.
On the other hand I'd also like to write, only when i have decent inspiration and ideas. (But then I'd never write lol)
Reading more fanfic is also a big goal. I expect people to read my stuff and I'm bad at doing it myself, so there's that.
And on the immediate and small scale, I need to finish watching Star Trek: Discovery season 3. The antepenultimate episode went up on Christmas Day here, so I kind of fell out of the habit of watching it over the holidays. Need to get back to it, lol. Obviously although I like it, it's not gripping me in a 'must watch right away!' kind of way but I think I've established I'm a lazy slacker here already.
