Snowflake Day 3
Day 2 was to talk to someone new and thanks to comments on journals for snowflake I've done that.
Challenge #3: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
In your own space, tell us who, from one of your fandoms, would you most want to have dinner with (or tea, or a random afternoon visit), And why? This could be a creator, an actor, a costumer, a set designer, a director, a character, a composer, anybody! What would you talk about? What are you dying to know? Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
The boring, honest answer is no really. I don't think I have enough in common with fictional characters to make it interesting, and double so I don't want to interact with real life creators, at least not in the context of big famous creators of proper stuff. I'm shy I wouldn't enjoy it, they wouldn't either.
But then I realised I was thinking of hosting the fictional characters in real life, either at my home or in a real life restaurant or location. What if we turn it around a bit and have a fictional character host me at in their verse?
Say attend a naval dinner on the HMS Surprise hosted by Jack Aubrey, or a feast in Westeros or Hogwarts. (The later would be safer). I've no more expectation that I'd fit in with a hard drinking, big eating, early 19th century naval crew or wizards but boy would that be an experience! And I'd find out exactly what soused hog's face actually is.
So it's probably cheating but that's my answer.

I'd like a feast in Hogwarts, not so sure about Westeros though!

Yes, I'd have to be very specific about which characters I feasted it with and which feast I attended lol.

I think at least at Hogwarts if you go for a feast, there's massive variety, so it should be hard to find at least something to try!
Pumpkin juice as the default juice always seemed a little sketchy to me though.

Do you have a specific place in Westeros that you'd like to visit?

I think I'd go with Redwall Abbey, but Hogwarts would be fun too.
