Picard Episode 2

Now the first flush of seeing Stewart and Spiner is over. Does it still stand up? Yes... mostly. Spoilers under the cut.

• I'm very dubious about the whole mars attack and the conspiracy in Starfleet Security. It feels like leading in to 9/11 Mars was an inside job conspiracy theory.
• Laris is awesome.
• Picard's doctor was a Stargazer ship mate rather than a TNG one very interesting and calls back to "All Good Things" again. Picard may really have the same syndrome he did there.
• A reason why he doesn't call in the TNG Crew for more than cameos and makes sense.
• I have no idea where the borg cube plot is going but it's fascinating.
• They had 'five thousand days since our last workplace assimilation' sign which is a hilarious bit of dark comedy.
