Challenge #8

Rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create.

Doing something a little different, as I mentioned in my goals, I've not read much this year and need to read more. I have used my tumblr slightly more this year. So, here's one art, one fic and one meta rec. The art and meta are new to me and the fic is a classic.


1) Bearded Ron! by Hilly Minne - It's Ron with a beard, looking awesome. What is not to like?

2) "And I Walk from My Machine" by sportivetricks The original Astoria/Percy featuring medical kink and a fucking machine. (Belated warning it's very NC-17/Explicit) and it is just as awesome and original as that sounds and features a very in character Percy and an interesting take on Astoria.

3)Hey-Remember-Ron by darthlordrevoldemort - Meta: by no means complete list of awesome things Ron did and was in the books that are too often overlooked.

I very much agree with you re. bearded Ron. Ooof! I do so love my gingers. :D

Ooh, that Ron meta is well-timed. I was just chatting to a non-fandom friend who'd seen the HP movies but not read the books, and he was asking about differences and I did mention that Ron came off much better in the books but couldn't remember all the specifics. I'll send that post on to him.
