James Sirius Potter stared at the camera lens.
His auburn hair had been dishevelled when he’d walked into the building and was now presentable because a lot of combing done with fingers. Sleeplessness had left his eyes dark and his skin pale. His freckles stood out.
He swayed with a hangover and resisted the urge to grin: it wouldn’t have been the right look at all.
It certainly wasn’t going to be the best portrait ever take of him but it was the one that was going to go on his Auror Identification and that was good enough for James.
