Not sure how they're going to make young Dumbles/Grindelwald work and keep with DH there's some lovely shots in there. I especially like the Thestral carriage.
I admit without shame I cried when I saw Hogwarts. It's been so long.
I was cautiously optimistic about Jude Law as Dumbledore, but from the little glimpses we saw on this trailer I'm fully on board excited. I think he got the twinkle in his eye/quiet power part nailed.
I'm also really excited to see more of Jacob,Tina & Queenie. but the "chose sides' has me worried. Like it's good to make the characters well rounded & have comflict. but unfortunately fandom has like reached a point when they see a character do something bad/problematic on their character arc and they go 'YOU NOW EVIL!" (unless you're a mildly attractive angst guy- because shipping) and ugh dont' want to deal with that. (people are already bashing on dumbledore on that one line which is so obviously edited/out of context and just *UGH*)
but still so excited to see more new beasts (THE KELPIE! THE AUGUREY! :D) & the circus plotline looks intriguing and fun.
it just sucks that i want it now but it's due in november and i don't want the year to go by too fast.
well considering JKR herself is writing the script I'm confident Dumbledore will be perfectly eccentric. After all Newt was pretty eccentric and people loved him. (It can't be worse than the cartoonish campyness that was Gambon's Dumbledore/Also I hope this movie kills the 'Dumbledore hate train' for the most part. I know it will never disappear completely but it's about time it becomes the minority.
and well I'm guessing Grindelwald will take more of a main focus- but the Beasts will be more memorable. (For me Grindelwald is the least of reasons I'm interested in this pentalogy movie series. I'm excited to see the final duel because Jude Law is going to be a badass. But i really couldn't care less about Grindelwald.

Lots of fun creatures in there, hopefully they won't let the Grindelwald side outweigh the Creatures.
