• It's hot
• my may madness has stalled completely.
• one ear is blocked and i'm not registered at my local doctor for some reason.(I must have changed Doctors when i went to university eleven years ago and never changed back)
• So many political leaflets.

I hope the ear situation gets better soon. (is it possible to just go to the hospital and say 'my ear is blocked and i need to see a doctor" and have someone see you? or does it have to be with the doctor you registered with?

weather here is unbearably hot too and I don't get it because it's not summer yet.

Thanks! It actually started getting a lot better in the last couple of days. I'd been using some over the counter ear stuff and it took a bit longer than it said it would to work.

I admit i'm terrified for the june 8 election because the referendum was bad enough and i keep hearing trump-level scary proposals from the Tories like 'government total control of internet' (which WTF? i thought the way internet was set up there made it impossible for that to happen- ever) and 'privatizing health care" (which dont do it!!!!! the US has privatized healthcare and it keeps getting worse and worse)

and i'm so worried for everyone over in the uk.

I'm crossing my fingers for a france-like result that gets the conservatives out because they're out of control in every country.

(disclaimer: i know I don't live in the UK and the situation in the UK is different and I know very little for how things work in the UK, and I definitely dont want to sound like a nagging busybody)

you're registered to vote right? going to vote does make a difference, i mean look at France! they were *this* close to get racist/xenophobic/nationalist Le Penn as president, but emanuel Macron won because people went to vote.

so there's that... as a constituent you get to have a say...

and if enough people vote, it can turn things around for the better...
