Dominique strolled into the flat and chucked her travel-bag down by the door. James turned the page of his book.
"I'm home! Home at last!"
"Hullo.”
She laid down on their sofa; her head in his lap.
"That's a good way to get me to drop The Auror's Manual on your face, dear."
Dominique glared.
"Is that any way to greet me when I’m back from a holiday!?"
"Yes, Dom. Sorry, Dom. How was your day trip to France to see your Mum? It's been so terrible not seeing you since you hit the Floo at seven o'clock this morning."
