All I've written for this month are emails and whatsapp messages...lol You're ahead of the curve.
I usually use the half year mark to assess what I've failed to accomplished and see about moving forward. The usual exercise, eat right, write more is always there but they never happen.
I don't find your journal dreary at all. At least it is current. Mine is stuck a few months behind.
