No idea. If i tell you how hot it is you'll laugh at my patheticness and tell me that would be wooly hat time in jamacia. ;p

At the point when I replied to you, Google was telling me that Manchester (the closest I could remember where you were) was 24 degrees celsius. Kingston, Jamaica where I am, was 30 degrees celsius at the time. Not too much hotter than you guys. Granted, we had a little cold front this past weekend.

from what I heard, it's awful there because in the UK there's little Air conditioner so the slightest raise in temperature gets uncomfortable.

drinking plenty of water should help a little, i think?

My sympathies! My sewing room is south-facing, and it's getting pretty darn hot in there today.

south facing is worst! My bedroom and the side of the house with the kitchen and living room is south facing as well.
