That seems to be a very popular pairing and I think ASoIaF is just really popular right now. The readers certainly aren't shy about doling out kudos, at least in my experience that's the case. I thought no one would read my Arya/Rickon story but I was happily surprised that it got some attention. Also, it probably makes it easier that you're actually a talented writer :)
