Okay so that was a very deep meaningful episode that I just did not gel with at all.
So they forced Tarima into being in the Academy and lo and behold that screwed her up. No wonder.
Oh but I wasn't wrong about Caleb/Genesis tension last episode or at least Tarima thinks it's there... and she's a mind reader. Not sure we need a triangle but it's not exactly shaping up that way in a cliche way at least.
Hey it's Tilly at last. Hey, she's teaching third years on a starship that stays out all the the time? Hey that sounds like a cool idea for a series doesn't it?
So we deal with the Doctor's trauma and it's not about the Voyager or Prodigy crews but... that holofamily he had in that one episode? It's not a concept that takes a lot of explaining I guess but that's... a very specific reference.
The solution for SAM is weird. Is she, and can the actress successfully portray her as, and entirely new character when she comes back?
