Title: Planet Gazing

Summary: All the planets are out for Harry to see.
A/n: Written for nothing except needing a GYWO day and inspired by the fact you really can see seven planets in the sky at the moment in the UK.

It was just after sundown, and Harry Potter stood outside his back door as the sky darkened and the stars appeared.
Along with the stars there were other bright lights in the heavens. According to the radio, all seven planets could be seen tonight.
It had been a long time since Harry had taken Astronomy or used a telescope but he spotted most of them.
Mars was impossible miss, round and bright and red.
Mars is bright tonight came the words from his past.
Harry thought about his wife and kids in the house and then scoffed, it was a good thing he wasn't a centaur and spooked by such things.
Then he invited his family out to look at the sky.
Al, who was actually keen on astronomy brought out his telescope while Harry fussed and made everyone put on coats.
He wanted them to be safe after all.
