I can so relate to this. It's why I don't make resolutions, if I don't keep them I feel like I've failed. But with a goal, it's something to work towards, not something you have to do, so it makes me feel a little better if I don't quite achieve everything.

Reading fanfic is good though, that's one I never have trouble with *g*.
