It's October! How time flies.
Just a quick post to say I'm still alive. Still trying to keep this journal active.
I'm just brain dead when it comes to writing, aside from a few headcannony memes on my tumblr. I've tried to settle to it a couple of times, just have nothing to write at the moment.
What have I been doing? Watching the Jurassic park/world films on netflix. Re-watching Watchmen. Re-watching Red Dwarf. I've also been re-reading books series and I'm currently reading the 4th Lady Trent novel for the first time.
And playing Doom (2016) and now Lego Marvel's Avengers on ps4. Which is quite a difference from 18 rated first person shooting. To Lego game play for kids. But it does involve shooting everything insight.
Lego games are stupidly addictive, they're not hard being from kids, but so many collectables/unlockables, races etc, that give constant tiny rewards. it's not quite as good as the first Lego Marvel Superheroes which I had on ps3 before trading it all in for a ps4. (and ps5 is coming soon ugh, I'll be a late adopter if at all there.) Avengers focuses on the MCU movies rather than an original plot line so it has a smaller cast and the levels are all based on snippets of the first two avengers, and one level each for the first two cap films, Iron man 3 and the second thor film. The dialogue for a lot of the character is sampled from them which results in an even more limited set of sayings than usual.
But reasonable fun and like I said... so addictive!
