Well it's sad to admit but I think this show is starting to lose me in places.

I really really hope that we're going somewhere interesting with the mars attacks and the starfleet conspiracy. I've said too often but it feels 9/11 truthery
Likewise the more grim unoptimistic future of this era. I really hope we're going to see the Star Trek optimism reconstructed as well.
Raffi's disgrace really laid on thick for the future considering earth's supposes to be a utopia hopefully the exile is more or less of her own making
Like was the talk of money and the new ship being expensive
the rogue captain though seems decent enough and i like his emergency holograms reflecting parts of his personality.
the action scene was really jarring.
not a fan of the romulan fortune teller lady. Doesn't feel star trekky.
Like that Hugh's back, very low key about him being a returning character.
Didn't have to wait as long for an 'Engage!' as I thought and nice use of the tng theme for emphasis
